Well, while performing updates, it comes to mind that all data can't necessarily be recovered, especially when someone else is hosting the content.

Next step, create a system that will back-up from remote server and put on local share so that in event of problems, the data can be reinstated without little notice of a problem. Just didn't prepare it that way this time. Lessons learned.
